Rules for Promotion

As per CBSE norms.

  1. A student is eligible for promotion in Std. I to X only if he or she has attended classes for 80 % of the total number of working days for which the school has worked from April to March of the academic year.
  2. Promotion from Std VIII to IX and IX to X is possible only if the child scores 33% of the total marks of the written examinations of each subject. Promotion is granted on the basis of the general progress of the pupil during the academic year, not merely on the results of the annual examinations. The records of periodic tests, monthly tests, terminal examinations, etc., will be taken into account at the time of promotion.
Admission

Prospectus and application form for registration can be had from the school office on payment according to the classes. Registration starts by November every year. From the 15th of March the office will be processing all the Admission.

The following documents are required for admission procedure.

i)             Prescribed application form duly filled in.

ii)            Original Birth Certificate

iii)           Stamp size latest colour photograph of the student (3 Nos.)

iv)           Transfer Certificate issued by the school last attended.

v)            Progress report of the last examination

The minimum age for admission to LKG class is 3½ years and to standard I is 5½ years on the first of June of the year of study. The age limit varies correspondingly for admission to other standards. Note: Relaxation to the age limits will not be granted.
